Everything is Dumber in Texas

Think of the dumbest places to rob, I bet you a police station did not cross your mind.  Well, meet Keithan Manuel who attempted this feat at a Dallas, Texas police station.  Manuel walks into a police station with a white towel covering his hands and asks the police dispatcher at the front desk to hand over all the money in the cash register.  Then, he asks the dispatcher about a friend’s warrant, and while the officer was looking for it Manuel decided to tell the officer that he had a gun.  The police dispatcher instantly called on her fellow officers and they took Manuel down and booked him with charges in robbery and theft.  Of the incident, Manuel stated, “Man, I play like dat all da time, didn’t think she’d take me seriously.”  Really dude?  You didn’t think a police officer, in a police station would take an attempted robbery seriously?  First off, what are you doing trying to rob a police station?  Of the places I would think would have a lot of money to hold up, a police station would be amongst the bottom of that list.  This Keithan Manuel guy has to be one of the dumbest people I have ever had the pleasure of reading about.  Congrats Keithan, your so-called “Practical Joke” was the easiest arrest any police officer ever had to do.  Some people like Manuel, even if they didn’t commit a crime deserve to be placed behind bars and to be charged with pure stupidity.  You can read the rest of the article here: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-57432122-504083/keithan-manuel-a-robber-or-a-joker-cops-say-he-tried-to-rob-suburban-dallas-police-station/
