Bulls vs. Heat Round 1 Preview

It’s the game Bulls’ fans have been waiting for since last summer. The Heat outplayed the Bulls in the 2011 Eastern Conference Finals winning the series 4-1 after the Bulls dominated the regular season series. As we can see, these regular season match-ups really don’t mean much for the playoffs. However, both teams will use this game as a measuring stick to see where they stand right now, especially after making significant offseason acquisitions. Here are the likely starting match-ups.

Derrick Rose vs. Mario Chalmers

Winner: Rose, hands down.

Dwyane Wade vs. Ronnie Brewer/Richard Hamilton

Winner: Wade, however Hamilton has given Wade the most trouble out of any player with his length and experience.

LeBron James vs. Luol Deng

Winner: James

Carlos Boozer vs. Chris Bosh

Winner: Bosh, however it Boozer could easily win this matchup. Bosh completely outplayed Boozer in the playoffs, but they have both been playing well so far this season.

Joel Anthony/Udonis Haslem vs. Joakim Noah

Winner: Noah

Miami Bench vs. Chicago Bench

Winner: Chicago Bench. The Bulls have the best bench in the NBA and will easily outplay Miami’s bench.

Prediction: Bulls win 92-87
